Recently international hotel management companies have entered the market of mixed use developments and are trying to get their share of the lifestyle investment market.
All over Asia, be it in Phuket, Singapore or in Bali, these international brands are developing new luxurious hotels and resorts. What used to be investments where capital growth was the only goal, have now changed to be investments which can also generate good rental yields, adding an extra factor to the attraction of investing in such property.
These branded names developments offer a wide range of choice. From villas in Phuket with absolute privacy and their own swimming pools to condominiums with shared facilities like swimming pools, gyms and the possibility of having in room services.
Phuket has seen the evolution where hotel managed projects are now offering ownership to individuals. Amanpuri, Banyan Tree and Sheraton started this trend in the 90’s.
